OCEANSIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — An Oceanside man has been convicted of first-degree murder in the 2008 killing of a military veteran with paraplegia, bringing an end to a case that remained unsolved for more than 17 years.
According to the San Diego District Attorney’s Office, Jeffery Roberson, 60, was found guilty Thursday of killing Cecil Zachary Jr., 51, who was beaten to death inside his Oceanside home.
