Barretts Travel Center Getting Closer to Opening in Jamul

Barretts Travel Center, a new travel center with a fueling station, convenience store, restaurant, bar, and community center, is nearing opening in Jamul along State Route 94 near Jefferson Road.

The Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation is developing the project, and it has submitted a liquor license application for the restaurant and bar component. Construction is currently underway, although an exact completion or opening date has not been announced. According to a press release from the Jamul Indian Village Development Corporation, the restaurant and bar will offer full bar service and an outside lounge.

Barretts Travel Center is being built on the Jamul Indian Village reservation and will serve travelers along State Route 94, also known as Campo Road.
