Woman seriously injured after being hit by car along Euclid Avenue in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A woman was taken to a local hospital for multiple life-threatening injuries after she was hit by a car while crossing a major street in San Diego Friday morning.

According to San Diego police, the 34-year-old woman was running westbound in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Euclid Avenue and Federal Boulevard around 5 a.m.

At the same time, a Mazda driven by a 48-year-old man headed southbound on Euclid Avenue was approaching the solid green traffic signal at the intersection with Federal Boulevard…
