A plane was fully engulfed in flames at the Montgomery-Gibbs Executive Airport in Kearny Mesa, near San Diego, killing two people on Monday evening, according to San Diego police.
NBC San Diego reports that firefighters were working to extinguish the flames, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department, and the airport is closed as authorities are on the scene.
