A long-vacant downtownSan Diego tower — one of the city’s most notorious problem properties — could be converted into 249 income-restricted affordable apartments under a proposal headed to the City Council.
The Council will consider the first amendment to the ground lease disposition agreement at its 2 p.m. session on September 15 at City Hall, 202 C Street. The vote would authorize redeveloping 107 Ash Street (formerly 101 Ash Street) — a city-owned property — into a mixed-use project anchored by the 249 income-restricted units.
