SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — After a weekend of scattered rain and humidity brought on by Hurricane Marie, which is now a Post-Tropical Cyclone still churning in the Pacific, the heat and humidity continue in San Diego County as residents face extreme temperatures in the high 80s up to 110 degrees through Thursday before a cooldown back to normal temperatures is expected over the weekend.
Nearly all of San Diego County is under an extreme heat warning through 8 p.m. Wednesday, when a heat advisory replaces the extreme heat through Thursday night.
The coastal cities of Chula Vista, Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, San Diego, Encinitas, and National City can expect high temperatures in the 80s at the beaches to 90s in areas of higher coastal terrain, the National Weather Service reports…
