SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A man was arrested Thursday after investigators linked him to threats mailed to a high school in unincorporated El Cajon, a San Diego bank and private residence, according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff’s detectives and school resource officers began investigating on Sept. 16 after a threat was mailed to Valhalla High School, located at 1725 Hillsdale Road.
Investigators identified the suspect as 37-year-old Ray Talia. Sheriff’s officials say they also linked him to two additional threats — one mailed to a Chase Bank in San Diego and another sent to a private residence in El Cajon.
