SAN DIEGO (KUSI/FOX 5) — A slew of power outages across San Diego on Saturday, from North to East Counties, left about 4,400 SDGE customers without electricity, according to SDGE’s Outage Map.
North County: North Vista, West San Marcos, Twin Oaks
Two power outages erupted in North County near the Santa Fe Hills community.
The first outage in that area began at 6:32 p.m. Saturday and is affecting around 762 SDGE customers near Twin Oaks and Hidden Meadows. According to SDGE’s website, the cause of the outage is unknown and under investigation. Power in that area is expected to be restored around 8 p.m.
In an update around 8:30 p.m., the cause of the outage was due to something coming into contact with the electrical system, with power expected to be restored around 9 p.m., according to SDGE’s website…
