SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — The global phenomenon Pokémon is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year and more than 200 Target stores in California are helping to celebrate, including more than a dozen in San Diego County.
Participating stores will be decked out with Pokémon-inspired activities and interactive experiences, all designed to give every generation a familiar taste of the beloved fandom.
Activities include letting fans draw their own Pokémon trading card, try out a demonstration of the new Pokémon Pokopia game for Nintendo Switch 2 and themed photo opportunities for families.
