Eat Crispy Burger, a San Diego burger restaurant known for smash burgers, is planning to open alongside its sister concept, Crispy Fish Tacos, in the College Area at 5120 College Avenue, Suite 125.
The new dual-concept location is expected to open in October 2026, according to SanDiegoVille. Eat Crispy Burger and Crispy Fish Tacos will share the space, giving customers the option to order from either concept at the same location. The College Avenue space most recently housed Carbonaro’s, an Italian fast-casual restaurant focused largely on customizable pasta dishes. Before Carbonaro’s, the space was occupied by Lolita’s Mexican Food.
Eat Crispy Burger was founded in Encinitas in 2022 by Angela Ablahad and Ramzy Rahib. The family-owned business has since expanded to five brick-and-mortar locations in Encinitas, Kearny Mesa, National City, La Jolla, and Oceanside, with a Temecula location also listed as coming soon.
