SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for the San Diego coastline through Wednesday afternoon.
Elevated surf and high tides are expected to peak on Tuesday, which could cause minor coastal flooding and coastal erorison.
This month, the City of San Diego began putting up sand berms to protect against potential flooding, a project that started earlier this year than in years past because of the anticipated impacts from El Niño this winter.
