The ‘Take Our Border Back’ convoy, a massive trucker rally advocating for stronger border security, began its journey on Monday in Norfolk, Virginia. A significant number of truckers from across the U.S. and Canada have reportedly joined this movement, demonstrating their concern over the country’s current border policy.

The convoy is heading towards the southern border, with planned rallies at major border entry points including San Ysidro, California; Eagle Pass, Texas; and Yuma, Arizona. The group plans to traverse the Southeastern United States before joining other protesters in Texas this coming weekend.

Organizer and leading participant, John Hudgins, has expressed his anticipation for the event, stating, “I’m hearing 40,000 truckers coming from all over the country and Canada.” This statement underlines the widespread support this movement has garnered within the trucking community.
