. This 1 million-sqft, mixed-use space will become a hub for locals to shop, live, and work — with an emphasis on building SD’s booming

In 2018,
acquired the retail space, and in 2020 the
was closed so construction could begin. If you’re wondering where the project stands today, we’ve got you.
New tenants
It’s
that parts of the development will open later this year, and while we don’t have a definite date, we hear these tenants will fill the new space:
- Dining options will include Shake Shack, sweetgreen, and Malibu-based restaurant SunLife Organics .
- Locals will be able to stock up on groceries at a new Sprouts (we still miss you, Jimbo’s ).
- Studio Three and Rumble Boxing will offer fitness options.
