SOLANA BEACH, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A fight on Wednesday resulted in the stabbing of a man in Solana Beach, authorities said.
The stabbing occurred around 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Corto St., Sgt. Tom Fletcher with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release Wednesday.
Two men had gotten into an argument that turned physical when one of the men pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim, according to law enforcement.

Authorities found the victim at the scene with multiple stab wounds. The man, who was taken to a hospital in critical condition, is expected to survive.
Deputies located the suspect, identified as 21-year-old Trenton Lancashire, after he ran into a nearby home. Lancashire was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, the sheriff’s department said.
