A dramatic incident unfolded on Saturday, February 10, around 3:00 a.m. when deputies from the San Diego County Ramona Sheriff’s Substation encountered a group of six individuals at the intersection of La Brea and Ramona Streets.
The encounter resulted in the arrest of three individuals for illegal possession of concealed firearms and narcotics, with one arrestee, Jorge Aguilar (DOB 01/07/2003), now facing serious charges after allegedly ramming his pickup truck into a gate at the Ramona Sheriff’s Substation, deputies said.
Aguilar, initially arrested for carrying a concealed firearm, was released from the Ramona Sheriff’s Substation with a notice to appear in court. However, the situation took a turn when Aguilar returned to the substation at around 7:30 a.m., utilizing his pickup truck to ram the back gate before fleeing the scene, deputies added.
Deputies swiftly identified Aguilar as the driver responsible for the vehicular collision, thanks to nearby residents who witnessed the incident. Following the destructive act, deputies located Aguilar’s damaged truck parked at his residence in Ramona, according to investigators.
