Sheep grazing at the San Marcos Foothills West Mesa is helping to restore native grassland and protect the surrounding community from wildfires. Channel Islands Restoration partnered with Cuyama Lamb to begin their annual prescribed sheep grazing program at the San Marcos Foothills Preserve (SMFP), a public grassland located in Santa Barbara near Highway 154.
