Temperatures to Drop in Southern California with Potential for Light Precipitation, NWS San Diego Reports

The consistent rise in mercury across Southern California’s inland valleys, coastal mountain slopes, and deserts, which some residents have grown accustomed to, is taking a slight downturn over the weekend. According to recent reports from the National Weather Service in San Diego, Friday’s scorching high temperatures, which scorched the lower deserts to a toasty 104 degrees and baked the Apple and Lucerne Valleys in the mid-80s to mid-90s, will give way slightly over the weekend.
