SAN MARCOS, Calif. (FOX 5./KUSI) — A SWAT standoff is underway Monday in San Marcos, authorities said.
A large law enforcement presence is in the 2200 block of Flatiron Way, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department posted on X at 5:33 p.m.
Brush fire north of Campo grows to over 280 acres; evacuation orders in place
Authorities are advising the public they might hear patrol cars making announcements with a domestic violence suspect urging them to surrender peacefully.
“If you live in the apartment complex, please stay inside,” the sheriff’s department said.
