Imperial Beach, CA-A woman was arrested in connection with elder abuse, grand theft, and burglary in Imperial Beach, authorities reported. The investigation began on October 24, when a 78-year-old resident discovered multiple pieces of jewelry missing from her home. Among the stolen items were a yellow diamond ring valued at $200,000 and a pair of diamond earrings worth $60,000. The victim promptly reported the theft to the Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Substation.
