A bank heist attempt on Sunset Cliffs Boulevard fizzled out on Tuesday afternoon when a would-be robber abandoned his efforts and fled, only to be captured by police moments later. As informed by the San Diego Police Department’s Watch Commander’s Log, the incident occurred at the 1800 block of Sunset Cliffs Boulevard in Ocean Beach at 3:41 PM.
