ESCONDIDO, Calif. – A person was found dead Sunday inside a burning vehicle at a storage facility in Escondido, authorities said. Officers responded around 10 a.m. Sunday to reports of smoke coming from a Hyundai sedan at 325 Brotherton Road near the intersection of South Escondido Boulevard, just outside of a door at a Public Storage, according to the Escondido Police Department.
