CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Chick-fil-A is gearing up to open its newest location in San Diego County this Thursday, the American fast food chain announced Monday.
The new Chula Vista West restaurant will be located at 571 Broadway and will be open for dine-in, drive-thru, carry out and outdoor ordering through a walk-up window from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Saturday, according to the company.
Major makeover and expansion planned for Mission Valley mall
The Chula Vista West location joins more than 20 other Chick-fil-A restaurants throughout San Diego County. It is expected to bring approximately 120 full- and part-time jobs to the community, the company said.
Chick-fil-A is the third largest quick-service restaurant company in the nation. Most of its restaurants are individually owned and operated by people who live in the local community.
The Chula Vista West restaurant will be owned and operated by Michael Gonzales, a graduate of Point Loma Nazarene University. Gonzales is also the local owner-operator of Chick-fil-A Mile of Cars Way in National City.
