Some City Services Remain Open On Christmas Day

Though most city of San Diego services are closed Wednesday on Christmas, a few remain open.

Services remaining open include recreational areas at Chollas Lake at 6350 College Grove Drive, Mission Trails Regional Park at 7380 Golfcrest Place, and Tecolote Canyon Natural Park at 2759 Snead Ave.

City golf courses remain open with holiday rates applying. Mission Bay Golf Course at 2702 N. Mission Bay Drive is open but will close at dusk.

City skate parks and the Pacific Highlands Ranch Pump Track at 5977 Village Center Loop Road remain open.

The Miramar Landfill, Greenery, Recycling Center, and mattress collection site closed Wednesday.

Off-leash dog areas are closed. Curbside trash, recyclables and organic waste will not be collected until Thursday.

Parking meters, time restrictions for parking on streets, yellow zones and posted street-sweeping routes within the city are not being enforced Wednesday. All other parking violations, however, will be enforced.

Police and emergency crews will not be impacted by the holiday.
