Crash leads to closure of eastbound SR-905 at Picador Boulevard

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A traffic collision in the South Bay Wednesday night prompted California Highway Patrol to close all eastbound lanes of State Route 905 in the area of Picador Boulevard/Smythe Avenue.

A SigAlert showed the incident happened around 9:25 p.m.

As of 10 p.m., traffic was backed up to Beyer Boulevard. All lanes were reopened just before 3:30 a.m., Caltrans said in a post on X.

No further information about what led to the crash has been made available.
