A woman suspected of DUI was arrested at the hospital after slamming into a barrier on the San Diego-Coronado Bridge early Saturday.
The driver of a Mercedes crashed on the westbound side of the bridge around 5:20 a.m., according to OnScene.TV.
Witnesses said the sedan hit a wall on the roadway and flipped up, sliding along it, before landing back on its wheels in traffic lanes.
Good Samaritans pulled her from the wreckage as the car was smoking. She was transported to a local hospital for unknown injuries.
Two lanes on the bridge were blocked while authorities treated the victim and cleared the wreckage. The California Highway Patrol is investigating.
