Not much information is known as to what led up to the collision, but police say one car rolled over into a fire hydrant, landing on its roof, causing water to spew about 100 feet into the air for over an hour until crews were able to shut off the water.
SDFD posted this video of the water gushing into the air with the overturned car next to it. The water was also spraying on nearby power lines, so SDG&E was called in to shut off the power temporarily as well.
