San Diego Humane Society takes in nearly 40 dogs from Pasadena to free shelter space amid wildfires

SAN DIEGO — The San Diego Humane Society sent more crews up to Pasadena Thursday to help out with the Eaton wildfire that continues to burn.

Crews are bringing dogs from the Pasadena shelter back to San Diego. Wednesday night, crews returned with 11 dogs. Thursday they returned with 28 dogs and one kitten.

These are dogs that were already up for adoption in Pasadena. By bringing dogs to San Diego, they are freeing up shelter space for pets that are displaced due to the fire…
