The National Weather Service office in San Diego is forecasting cooler temperatures and widespread rain beginning late Saturday afternoon and continuing into Monday.
“Cooler, wetter, and windier weather is expected through Tuesday,” the weather service said in its 9:15 a.m. forecast. “Areas of rain and mountain snow showers will develop later today, becoming more widespread Sunday afternoon into Monday.”
