SPRING VALLEY, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — An infant was found dead Wednesday at a home in Spring Valley.
Around 1:20 p.m., authorities responded to a report of a battery at a residence in the 500 block of Sacramento Avenue, Lt. Michael Krugh with the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department said in a news release.
When first responders arrived at the location, they found a newborn infant unconscious on the living room floor, according to authorities. He appeared to have apparent trauma to his head and was pronounced dead at the scene.
