One person is dead and the suspect is still at large after a shooting in Lemon Grove Sunday afternoon, according to the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies said they received a call of an assault with a deadly weapon at Kunkel Park. When they arrived, they found an unresponsive man on the ground with signs of trauma to his upper torso. Life-saving measures were initiated and he was taken to the hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to a statement from authorities.
Deputies also said they believe the victim knew the suspect. No suspect description is available at this time…
