A DRIVER has been left stunned by a $78 parking ticket that was slapped on his car as he had no clue he was breaking a new law.
Many locals in California woke up to instant fines, waiting for them on the streets after the “20-foot” rule had come into effect.
The law, which took effect in San Diego on January 1, bans parking within 20 feet of an intersection.
