(FOX 5/KUSI) — Several senior alpacas from Central California now have a permanent home in San Diego County after they had to be moved because of the death of one of their owners.
Four of the animals arrived at Lions Tigers & Bears Sanctuary on Thursday morning. They are part of 21 alpacas that were being raised and tended to by a couple in Fresno.

“We worked alongside Robin’s Nest Rescue to provide these animals a lifetime home,” said Bobbi Brink,” with the sanctuary.
After the passing of one of their owners, the remaining owner faced legal and financial challenges and worked with rescue groups to find permanent homes for the animals.
