San Diego man faces new narco-terrorism charge in federal indictment

SAN DIEGO, California — Geovany Andres Rojas, a 43-year-old from Colombia, has been indicted by a federal grand jury on a new charge of narco-terrorism. Rojas, also known as Araña, was previously charged with international conspiracy to distribute cocaine.

The new charge alleges that Rojas knowingly provided something of pecuniary value to individuals and organizations engaged in terrorist activities, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
