SAN DIEGO — Prosecutors could seek the death penalty against the adoptive mother and grandparents of 11-year-old Arabella McCormack, who prosecutors say was tortured and died in August of 2022.
The three defendants appeared for a status conference in an El Cajon courtroom Monday morning. Leticia McCormack, along with her parents, Adella and Stanley Tom, all face hundreds of charges in connection with the little girl’s death.
