SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities have arrested an additional suspect related to the murder of a person found buried in Balboa Park last year.
On July 25, 2024, the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a tip from a concerned citizen regarding a possible body found buried in Balboa Park.
‘Dangerous’ drug trafficking ring shut down in Southern California
Responding homicide detectives found the body in a shallow makeshift grave in the canyon area next to State Route 163 by Richmond Street. According to authorities, the body appeared to be decomposing and “had likely been there for several weeks.”
