Husband and wife arrested in Vista hotel for selling meth, child endangerment

VISTA, Calif. — Deputies arrested a man and his wife after finding methamphetamine inside a Vista hotel room they were living in on Wednesday.

According to a press release sent by the San Diego Sheriff’s Department, deputies from the Vista Sheriff’s Station conducted a parole complaint check on 45-year-old James Butler at a hotel in the 600 block of Sycamore Avenue and found he violated the terms of his parole and notified State Parole.

During the compliance check, deputies found nearly 50 grams of methamphetamine and what appeared to be the makings of a Butane Honey Oil lab inside the hotel room. The Sheriff’s Marijuana Enforcement Team and County Hazmat were called and took over the scene, the release said…
