SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Dozens of people gathered at Cabrillo National Monument on Saturday to show support for the National Park Service and its employees following the recent firings of hundreds of Park Rangers nationwide.
The rally was part of a larger, nationwide movement in response to the Trump administration’s decision to cut approximately 1,000 NPS positions in February as part of efforts to reduce the size of the federal government.
