SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — A large police presence has been reported in the Stockton neighborhood in south central San Diego after an incident in the area Friday morning.
The incident occurred near the intersection of 31st and L Streets around 11:20 a.m. No additional details about what prompted the police presence are known at this time, although witnesses told FOX 5/KUSI at the scene they heard gunshots.

SkyFOX/KUSI in the Sky was over the scene around 11:30 a.m. More than a dozen San Diego police vehicles could be seen blocking the roadway near the Bethel AME Church.
