SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — More and more local residents are getting behind a lawsuit against the company that runs a wastewater treatment plant in San Ysidro. This comes amid a continued fight against cross-border sewage and it’s impacts.
The Frantz Law Group held a townhall meeting Thursday for South Bay residents to learn more about the suit. So far, more than 1,000 people and local school districts have joined.
They claim the International Wastewater Treatment Plant, located in San Ysidro, has illegally discharged over a billion gallons of raw sewage, which they say has harmed their health and has even damaged their properties…
