SAN DIEGO — The City of San Diego has joined a coalition of local governments nationwide in a legal fight over a federal executive order that seeks to eliminate birthright citizenship.
In a statement issued on April 18, San Diego City Attorney Heather Ferbert stated that the goal is to defend constitutional rights, maintain community stability, and protect access to public services.
