Conjugal visits to be addressed with future bill from valley assemblyman

FRESNO, Calif. ( KSEE/KGPE ) – After two women died while visiting their husbands at a Northern California prison, Assemblyman David Tangipa wants to introduce a new bill to prevent more deaths during conjugal visits. California is one of four states that allow conjugal visits.

“We need to put people first in law-abiding citizens first over the criminals. And yet time and time again, criminals for some reason are getting first,” Assemblyman Tangipa said.
