Video shows rescue of autistic boy wandering on freeway

SANTEE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities on Tuesday released a rescue video of a missing 11-year-old autistic boy who had wandered onto a freeway last month in Santee.

On March 9, around 4:30 p.m., authorities received a report of the autistic boy going missing from a supermarket in the 9600 block of Mission Gorge Road, the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
