Ramona, California – A routine traffic stop in Ramona on Friday night led to the arrest of a 43-year-old man on suspicion of weapon and drug possession , according to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies from the Ramona sheriff’s substation pulled over a gray 2004 Ford Ranger pickup truck near the intersection of state Route 78 and Poplar Street around 8:30 p.m. Police stopped the vehicle due to expired registration and a damaged windshield, authorities reported today.
The driver of the pickup has been identified as Sean Blickfeldt. During the stop, deputies allegedly discovered a loaded .22 caliber rifle in Blickfeldt’s possession, along with several plastic baggies containing crystal methamphetamine.
