San Diego, California – A San Diego woman is behind bars following her arrest in connection with two non-fatal stabbings that occurred in Ocean Beach last month, authorities said Thursday .
Jana Nicole Halaska, 29, was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon in Hillcrest on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and attempted murder, according to the San Diego Police Department.
The charges stem from an early morning incident on April 13, when officers responded to reports of a stabbing near the intersection of Bacon Street and Newport Avenue shortly after 1 a.m. Upon arrival, they discovered two men, ages 29 and 36, suffering from stab wounds.
