LAKESIDE, Calif. — Family, friends, and former colleagues gathered for a candlelight vigil in Lakeside to honor San Diego firefighter Nick Ramirez, who died in 2022. The event, organized by Ramirez’s wife Terrie, paid tribute to fallen firefighters and aimed to keep their memories alive.
Ramirez joined the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department in 2003 and served as Deputy Fire Marshal in the Community Risk Reduction Division starting in 2014.
