Man rushes into burning Spring Valley apartment to save stranger trapped inside

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. — A woman is alive thanks to the bravery and kindness of a stranger who ran into a burning building to save her.

The fire broke out around 9 a.m. Saturday at the Grand Mannor Apartments in Spring Valley. The fire started in the patio area and grew to the apartment units. Families rushed outside to safety, while one man ran into a unit filled with flames to save a life.
