Storm force winds expected to batter parts of California this week

A wind advisory has been put in place for much of Southern California this Monday, and it’s set to stay that way until around 11 pm tonight. The warning is classified as a High Wind Warning, according to The Sacramento Bee.

The region’s temperatures are beginning to cool down after an above-average stretch, causing some livelier weather conditions. A high wind advisory has been issued for the Eastern Sierra Slopes of Inyo County and Owens Valley.

Residents may even see a spot of light rain in some parts of Southern California during Monday night and possibly into Tuesday morning.

According to The National Weather Service (NWS), the wind advisory is effective from 5 a.m. Monday to 5 a.m. Wednesday and the warning applies to the desert and mountain parts of the counties of San Diego, Riverside and San Bernardino…
