The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County dropped Friday to its lowest amount since Feb. 9, decreasing two-tenths of a cent to $4.662.
The average price has dropped 16 of the past 17 days, decreasing 13.1 cents, including 1.1 cents on Thursday, according to figures from AAA and the Oil Price Information Service. It dropped 12 consecutive days, rose three-tenths of a cent Monday, and resumed decreasing Tuesday.
The average price is 4.4 cents less than one week ago, 16.6 cents lower than one month ago, and 19.4 cents below what it was one year ago. It has dropped $1.772 since rising to a record $6.434 on Oct. 5, 2022…
