LAKESIDE, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — A brush fire has prompted evacuations Tuesday in the Lakeside area.
The Monte Fire started around 2:59 p.m. near the 15000 block of El Monte Road, east of Lake Jennings Parkway, at five to 10 acres, according to Cal Fire San Diego.
