CHULA VISTA, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities have identified the person who died following a crash involving a Chula Vista Police vehicle last week.
The crash happened last Friday around 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Olympic Parkway and Windingwalk Street.
Driver killed when vehicle hit forklift identified
According to the Chula Vista Police Department, an officer in a marked police vehicle was turning left onto southbound Windingwalk Street. As it was turning, a motorcycle traveling eastbound on Olympic Parkway crashed into the side of the police vehicle.
